of the plants.....i really appreciate it.
From what I can see, they look to be Euphorbia rigida (Gopher Plant), Senecio vitalis (Blue Chalk Fingers), Anigozanthos flavidus (Kangaroo Paw), Agave attenuata (Fox Tail Agave), and some sort of ornamental grass. The blooming Euphorbia rigida (Gopher Plant)
I love the way the slope was designed , the green plants make it really come out nicely
plantings rich and full along stairs
The plants incorporated in this bed are beautiful and placed nicely, same size, and (the more than just one planted) so it makes a better statement.
Plant colorful, drought-tolerant plants: If you’re sick of high summer water bills, making the switch to drought-tolerant plantings is the way to go. Fear not — drought tolerant doesn’t mean you have to lose color in the landscape.

Plant en masse. Now that we have discussed hardscaping, let's move on to planting schemes. Mass plantings of the same or similar plants will most certainly have a positive impact in your garden when viewed from above or at ground level.Notice the beautiful variety of clumping and upright plants in the
Netherlands; plants are used en masse to paint a picture. Notice how this designer has employed a diversity of color, textures, shapes and sizes, as well as captured light, to weave a beautiful tapestry. The fact that the end product appears effortless is a testament to its success.

3. Plants. To me, a room doesn't feel finished without a living plant. There is something cheering and welcoming about a vibrant green-leafed plant that makes a space feel more like home. Read up on houseplants and choose plants that will do well in the light conditions of your

Pride of Madeira
Do you suppose in West Virginia, I could plant Pride of Madeira as an annual, and save seeds?
are the plant varities shown? Thanks!
do you plant the bougainvillea to grow on the top of the structure shown?
bougainvillea is native to South America, i think? so a desert environment would be ideal for it to grow. i dont know about the other plant but it is spectacular!!:)

I would like to know what all of the plants are in this picture.
Is this on a slope and what kind of soil do these plants like? Thank you Edith Bond
Thank you for the quick response. Will this garden do well in Baldwin City, Kansas? We have a slope that we would like to landscape with some of these plants especially the yellow yucca, but we are in zone 5A
It's a slope indeed. All plants enjoy well drained soil, and a
