Room with kids in mind and still neat
This is probably outside my budget of this lifetime but I love the space. How it's connected to the kiddo's toys like wine play room but still separate. Also.. High ceilings are nice but I'm not that spiderweb savvy

nice play area under the stairs
Love the little toy room,very useful
certain rooms, I try to use solid-core doors for the bathroom to keep the bathroom experience as much of a one-person affair as possible. Solid-core doors deaden the sounds created in the bathroom. So if you're having a book club meeting or poker night down there, a solid door and insulated wall framing

Why was the room designed with the adults with their backs to the children?
I believe about 10' x 14'. However, room size really depends upon use type of equip

enough room for a dedicated exercise room. Even if you don't have the extra room, setting up exercise equipment near a window with a view will make the whole enterprise more enjoyable.
