Playroom "exterior"
Photos by Kaity All done on a shoestring budget, this playroom was a Christmas gift for 2 lucky little girls. Siding and shingles, etc. were all from Habitat for Humanity's Re-Stores. Carpet squares are left-overs from a school project. Most other pieces came from Craigs List.
Cute way to add a little house in a playroom.
"This playroom was a last-minute project that I revealed on Christmas Day. I needed a space for my kids to be able to do whatever their imaginations dreamt up for them," says Freng. The designer bought the siding and shingles from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore for a mere $11. She salvaged the carpet
Don’t dismiss second-hand piecesBuying pre-loved items is more than just a budget option, as this playroom demonstrates. The carpet squares were leftovers from a school project, and create a fun, patchwork effect. Furniture picked up at auction adds bags

replacing those pieces with furnishings that offer the same bright colors with a bold and playful pattern in keeping with the theme of the space. This playroom will give its children a wonderful childhood memory of their home. I would love to play there!
Playroom/family room with child size climbing wall and tube slide
for the yard can work in a playroom and may not require custom fabrication. This indoor tree fort has a tubular slide and a climbing wall that can be used no matter what the weather is.
Also, basic playground equipment you’d usually buy for the yard can work in a playroom and may not require custom
PlayI'm a big fan of organizing kids' toys, but hiding every single truck, sock monkey and Thomas the Train piece robs your home of the opportunity to celebrate the silly and funny

I have a very odd room, long and has 3 doors with in it, that I need to use as 2 rooms, or 2 spaces rather. This is the room off the mud room in our house...
