on the concrete floor ( i am writing to you from india) Please help as i would love to do something like this
Why are there seams in the concrete
shiny, polished look of acid-washed concrete flooring.
I have recently chosen to transform the slab foundation of my small, open concept home with acid-wash concrete flooring. The installer said that the product used to give it the shiny look has a very strong, long-lasting smell to it and the shine
look is polished concrete. A polished concrete is more labor intensive, but in the long run it will last a lot longer. The shine of a polished concrete is from the chemical reaction of the concrete with densifier to create a harness of concrete that is able to be polished with different grids of pads
to the concrete floors to achieve that nice color/finish? Was it a stain? Thanks!
I love painted the floor. Is it painted concrete?
scored the concrete in 4'x4' grid. we did and acid "stain". it really isn't a stain because it reacts with the concrete chemically.. grinded it down.(to expose aggregate) but i have forgotten the product we used to seal the floor! i think it was a wet seal normally used for wood. it has a nice "wet" glossy
natural concrete with a sealer and wax application on top. This look can easily be achieved on contractor's concrete or on a concrete overlay or topcoat, by applying a simple sealer and wax application on top.
white concrete and normal blue metal (grey aggregate) is that how this was done? Or is it with a surface application ?? If you know the answer will be extremely helpful Thanks heaps

Like the white sand aggregate concrete floor. Have to laugh at the toilet area though.
Floor: polished concrete with local bluestone aggregate. Wood wall: reclaimed “mushroom” wood (cypress planks from PA mushroom barns (sourced through www.antiqueandvintagewoods.com).
These are polished concrete floors with local (upstate NY) bluestone used as aggregate. They are really beautiful and contain radiant heating so they are comfortable too. Thank you for your interest and I'm sorry for the delay.
