Yes, fountains are beautiful, but aren't California, Arizona and other states having problems providing sufficient water to residents? If so, don't the building codes prohibit privately owned, decorative water features because water is wasted due to evaporation
evaporation? Yes, the water is recycled through the fountain using a pump, but that cannot prevent loss via evaporation. In the face of water shortages, how can anyone justify these water wasters? Or am I missing something?
