waterproofing membrane/tile system (such as Schluter Kerdi System) behind the tile, no need to worry about water penetration, even in a niche. The shelves are stone tiles polished all exposed sides. Back of this particular niche is the same salvaged vintage green swirl glass tile. The niche and shelves
The tile in this space is 8" x 12". We ran it vertically in a running-bond pattern, which visually makes the wall look taller. Good luck with your project!

brand/type of tile is shower wall?
Do you think that shower walls an floor tiles should
should be different? I have found that a lot of people prefer different kind of tiles for floor and walls. What do you think its best? Kudos, the bathroom is just fantastic.
What tile was used for the shower wall? It's fabulous. Thanks.
Actually, when this picture was taken, the raised Ipe wood deck was removed. We typically do porcelain or wood raised decks, so our floor choices are basic and concerned with drainage .
hummm, like the shower tile but not the color. Interesting stone/tile detail between the sinks on the wall. Haven't seen that before.

What kinds of tiles are these? Three varieties?
How do you seal the front tiles with the tub lip?
What is the name of the small tile and it's manufacturer? Wall tile?
my contractor says that the sillicone is not going to last if the 2 contact surfaces are on top of each other. My contractor suggested to place the tile behind the lip, but that would not look good, I think) How did you manage to create this look and ensure that the water does not get in between? Thank
However, the tiles in the back are perpendicular to the deck. the tiles in the front would be edge to edge. So it is not exactly the same thing.
Hi, If you look at the back walls they sit on top of the tub as well, a pretty standard detail which you can find this detail in the Tile Council of America's
