We are planning to put structural support posts both upstairs and down in our new house. I like the idea of using tree trunks, and wonder if we can use them green, or if we need to have them kiln dried for best results. We live

How big are there's posts and what kind of wood are they?
Are the wood posts actually structural or purely decorative?
Hello, The posts and beams are softwood hand hewn timbers. The post sizes appear to be 8x8s or 10x10s. Hopefully this helps. Please give the office a call if you would like to discuss this material
