5. Play with plant groupings. Decide whether you’d like to use single plantings or create a grouping of plants in each pot. “With the exception of succulent plantings, I have found that I prefer one plant per pot rather than elaborate displays. I then group pots together. This creates a cleaner look

Can someone tell me the names of plants in this arrangement?
Does anyone know what the lower trailing, greyish plant that goes to the ground is?
white-edged Euonymous (shrubby groundcover), and the silver trailing plant could be an artemesia (perennial).
Looking at the tiny picture on my phone I am going to say its some silver mound artemesia trailing out of that pot. Silver mound gets a little leggy in the shade, which looks to be the case
The specific variety of the coleus is 'Sedona' and I believe the trailing silver plant is Lotus maculatus (common name Lotus vine or Parrots Beak) It can have orange or red flowers. Here's a link for more info on the lotus vine http://www.portkellsnurseries.com/plantdb.php?id=1556 I hope this helps

Distinguish your collection of terra-cotta by going large in scale. Oversize pots can house trees and shrubs and make a grand visual statement.
Earthy colors on the walls and beneath your feet create a Tuscan base, while potted plants, particularly citrus trees and herbs, create an edible container garden
These large oversized pots full of shrubs, herbs, and trees make you feel like they were pulled from the orangery or that you are approaching a Tuscan villa.
In a pot. Potted herbs and citrus trees provide a fragrant welcome to guests when placed around the front door.
