using poured in place concrete over the existing brick fireplace and surrounding wall. The forms were made of melamine and we intentionally limited the amount of vibrating while pouring to give the finish more texture. It is about 3" thick.

What is used around the fireplace?Thank you!
Manufacturer of the burner in the fireplace, please? Is it a vented or vent free unit? Is it surrounded by glass stones/pebbles? Thank you!
Heatilator gas fireplace. This one is see-through, providing heat to both sides; two separate spaces. The gases most definitely need to be vented. The gas burns through pebbles/rock material.
I like that it's spacious, and has a fireplace.

2-way fireplace, interesting ceilings, built-in 'hovering' cabinets
