Randolph used a translucent glass door to "let in the light and create less of a barrier." The frosting provides some privacy; total privacy was not really needed because the buyers were empty nesters. Thanks so much to Hugh for sharing this beautiful home with us today! See more
Opaque glazing is a good way to lighten a dark hallway or landing without sacrificing privacy in a bedroom or bath. If you have an existing solid wood-paneled door, consider replacing one or more of the panels with frosted glass.
