Business Description
Growing up in a military family, I moved around several times throughout my childhood. Being a naturally social person, always being the "new girl" taught me how to find common ground with people and make friends easily. This skill has served me well in my career because I have an innate ability to make people feel comfortable, therefore making them comfortable in allowing me into their homes and into their lives.

I got interested in interior design in my early 20's, when TV shows like Trading Spaces became popular. The more I learned about home design, the more I WANTED to learn. This new-found passion lead to a move to San Francisco to study Interior Design at the Art Institute of CA-San Francisco.

I graduated with honors in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Thankfully I was able to gain real-world experience with designer and architecture firms before the economic crash of 2008. But I wasn't immune to the recession, I found myself laid-off four months before my wedding in 2010.

It was then I decided to take my fate into my own hands and go into business for myself. With the support of my new husband, Abahazy Interiors was founded in early 2011.

Almost three years later...here I am!

What I love most about running my own business (besides freedom!) is building relationships with my clients and helping them make a real difference in their homes and subsequently their lives. By the end of a project, I know my clients so well I consider them friends and we keep in touch long after the project is complete.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have found a career that I love and the ability to help people visualize and realize the potential in their homes.
