AJArchitects.com llc is a small, highly skilled and experienced architectural design firm that is trusted by their clients on both of America's coasts and beyond. They are dedicated to serving client needs and goals by defining how they work and how they live through architecture.

Established in 2008 within the Dupont Circle Historic District of Washington DC at the AIA Regional Headquarters, and later in the Andrew Mellon Building, home of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, AJA currently practices their craft in historic Glen Echo, Maryland and in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles.

AJA collaborates with other architectural firms providing technical expertise that translates into detailed design resulting in a projects constructability. They recognize architecture as art and offers the problem solving and science that successfully has a direct impact on the business of building while fully respecting and understanding a design's aesthetic, logic and function.

Commented: This cupola is the one I like most. Is each a custom design or Mfg? This was a design build project. AJArchitects.com designed and built the cupola as well as added the second floor to this modest suburban Maryland home. There is nothing unusual or unexpected in the construction....

Commented: Soffit material It is a beaded pine soffit board that was purchased at "Home Depot." The finish is a transparent "spar polyurethane."

Commented: What kind of lights are you using to illuminate the cupola? They are exterior bulkhead fixtures by "Hampton Bay." They were purchased at "The Home Depot" and are very reasonably priced.
