Alida is a dream to work with. I only started working with her recently, and plans are in progress, but I am compelled to write an early review because she has already impressed me! I contacted Alida to help strategically plan a series of small projects to refresh a suburban condo. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, Alisa completely set me at ease and what once overwhelmed me now feels very doable and affordable. I had considered several other designers initially and what set her apart is her total commitment to serving her client. Her approach is very interactive and intuitive. Alida took care to understand my preferences, priorities, and budget--and she also just got it. The options she presented after our consultation were beautiful, thoughtful, and so aligned with my tastes I thought she had read my mind. Our project is only just beginning but Alida has already provided a perfect vision for my home.

When my husband and I began our total house remodel, we had no idea where to start. Alida helped us to create an exact vision that we never would have imagined on our own. Alida sent us a virtual presentation within a few days of our initial consultation, and made requested changes almost immediately. She gave us many choices that allowed for us to stay within our desired budget. We are thrilled with every part of the project, and so proud to say we now live in our dream home. I would highly recommend Alida for any size project. She was very professional and also brought a great energy to such an overwhelming project.

Alida is so much fun to work with. She is extraordinarily talented so whenever you are on the fence, defer to her. She's just as excited about your project as you are and it shows! Alida answers my questions well past working hours, she fills in for others (not her problem, kind of others) well past working hours, deals with clients painful contractors, and does all this with the cutest smile and the best attitude. She's the bomb.

Alida helped design my new house, which we purchased while it was being constructed. She helped select stones for the countertops, flooring, paint, light fixtures, artwork, tile, hardware (cabinet knobs), and bath and kitchen fixtures. I could not have handled the scope of this project by myself, so I was incredibly thankful for her help! She was extremely professional throughout the whole project, responding to emails and texts promptly. There was a week that I was out of town on vacation and she handled communications with the contractors while I was away. I trusted her completely in my absence and she handled every thing thrown at her with professionalism and a great eye for design. I get so many compliments on my house and I love the feeling I get when I walk in the door. She made this home beautiful while handling my stress and the demands of the contractors. I would highly, highly recommend her for any project you might have. She is so talented and just a joy to work with.

Alida was great! After the first walk through of my house, she was able to translate my words into a presentation complete with color, pattern, and furniture recommendations that captured the look and feel I had in mind! We focused on our living room/dining room. She presented a detailed cost breakdown which allowed me to determine how to get the biggest impact within my budget. We are delighted with the results and find ourselves using the rooms much more frequently now that they look beautiful and are filled with things we love!

My husband and I bought an older home in the Western Suburbs that needed some renovations. We contacted a builder and had an idea of what we wanted to do and what what needed to be done. The second call we made was to Alida. Contacting her was the best decision we made . She helped us from the very beginning. Infact it was her idea the architect used to start the project. Alida helped us with everything. Counter top materials, cabinets, cabinet hardware, bathroom fixtures, paint colors, window treatments, light fixtures, etc. etc. etc. In short we could not have complete the project with out her. She saved us time, money and our marriage. :)

Alida Coury is not only an exceptionally talented designer, she excels at working within budget contstraints. She has designed 3 bedrooms, a family room as well as our basement which was a complete gut project (which included adding a full bath and guest room). Like many people these days, we need to stick to a budget. She has consistently done work that far exceeds our expectations and looks significantly more expensive that it actually is. Overall, Alida Coury IS the reason you hire a designer: She is creative, knowledgeable, and delivers the "Wow Factor." I highly recommend her.

Alida was fantastic! I gave her some of my ideas on what I wanted my 3 boys bedrooms to look like...and she nailed it. She created 2 very cool and hip rooms that look like they belong on a cover of a magazine. The best part was she kept it on point for my budget. Could not have asked for any more. I plan on using her again in the future to help create even more dramatic makeovers in my home.

f2DESIGNS did an incredible job in designing our master bedroom. Alida met with my husband and I to get a feel for what we were looking for. A few days later she had a complete design proposal for us to review. We had given her a budget for the project and she made sure she stayed within that budget. Alida designed the space beautiful but also she created more functionality for our space. She turned an empty nook into built in bookshelves. She laid out the room so we could have more dresser drawer space and the selected nightstands with drawers. The extra storage is so handy! I would highly recommend Alida and f2Designs for any interior project. She's professional, and excellent communicator, and a very talented designer. We are so happy for the work she did on our house and we will be hiring her again for future projects in our home.
