It was such a pleasure to work with Mary. She took time to understand our style inside our home to make sure that the outside design was harmonious with it. She had a vision for the end result that set a clear direction. She carefully consulted with us to give us as much input as we wanted. She was extremely professional and reliable. Mary had extensive contacts with other professionals such as someone to do the planting or a company that does pruning, but she was very willing to work smoothly with our suppliers as well. We always liked our yard, but Mary truly took it to another level.

We have had a project to renovate the entrance to our house for a long time. We always hesitated because the change we wanted was to essentially eliminate one of the two front entrances and change the landscaping. Mary listened to our needs and concerns and came up with a fantastic design plan that will be implemented in several phases. She was constantly involved during the extensive tear out and new construction. She worked with the other professionals involved and always brought us up to date. Her planting diagram was very comprehensive and appropriate for our area. Her total landscaping concept was right for our budget and needs. We can highly recommend her work and selection of contractors. Her design ideas will enhance the value of our property.

We loved working with Mary to landscape both our front and back yards. She listened to what we needed and wanted: a natural, easy to care for design that took into account our proximity to a main road, hungry deer, and nearby river. The landscaping has transformed the appearance of our home and our use and enjoyment of our yard. We are still amazed at how much we love our gardens.

I have been using Stone Associates Landscape Design and Consulting for over 10 years now and couldn't be any happier! When my husband and I bought our house, the owner Mary helped us from day one. She designed and solved all of our landscaping issues, which were challenging since our house is built on a hill and descends down to a lake. She helped us choose all the right plants and flowers which continues to flourish. She is extremely reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about her work. Mary is not only wonderful at what she does, but is a great person and a pleasure to work with. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and it shows, that's why she's the best!

Mary was fantastic! She listened to our desire, planned a new look, advised what to do first, and offered to physically help! On the arrival day of our garden plants she was there ready to arrange, help dig, remove rocks, and offer suggestions for continued care. What a super woman! My husband and I loved working with her. I recommend her unconditionally!
