B INTERIORS

Residential designer and artist serving North Atlanta, and in business since 2000. I attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Interior Design from the American Intercontinental University in Buckhead, a FIDER-accredited program. My designs are simple, beautiful and affordable.

I approach each client with a fresh perspective starting with a thorough interview to learn about the family's lifestyle and dreams as well as likes and dislikes. I consider the architecture of a space and bring knowledge of color, furniture styles, antiques, textiles and art in addition to my vision, an attention to detail and a true passion for design. I am known to incorporate quirky flea market finds in my spaces, and I approach design in a way that embraces my client's existing furnishings whenever possible while providing updates for a fresh look. My relationships with clients, showrooms, workrooms, painters, artists and other vendors ensure a quality project.

My objective is to provide clients with unique ideas, creativity, experience and integrity throughout the entire design process. To achieve a quality end result, I encourage clients to spend the time to figure out what they really want their home to be like, and then I guide them to make informed decisions. After all, good design isn't just decoration. Good design makes you and your family more efficient, relaxed, and satisfied at the end of the day. Good design is an investment.

The Cabinet Guy, LLC Right Now Design, thanks for your input on laminate; most certainly should not be forgotten. Yes, it is definitely not as durable and as chic, but it is a great alternative to the popular and more expensive materials out there today. It is made from printed photos on paper that are imbedded in resins, etc. , so with major improvements in photo technology through the years, this material has come a long way in its offerings and finishes and textures. Although I have done my share of traditional square edge laminate counters, I have sold a lot of post form laminate which is formed as one single sheet of laminate over a substrate that is rounded on the front edge and rolled up and over the backsplash so there are no seams and very watertight. These are fabricated from blanks, so there are seams at exposed ends and corners, etc. Also, they have come out with other front edge profiles. There are options out there for under-mounted sinks with a traditional cut-out that is laminated and sealed, but I am not keen on them as they just don't hold up. Anyway, thanks again for mentioning it.

claren1 I love the look of the oversized farm sinks but was told that you can have that style sink with a laminate countertop. It that true?
