Bishop & Son Construction

Bill was provided with a long list of specific tasks to remodel our home along with drawings from a local designer. All seemed well, but we lived in another state during most of the construction so were unaware of the actual progress of the project. Significant delays can be attributed to Covid times, more people remodeling their homes, materials sometimes not available, etc., that's fine. Ultimately the real issues with their work: 1 - Subpar contractors given little to no guidance on what needed to be done and how we wanted it done. Progress on this job was completing a task one day, ripping it out 2 days later, then re-installing it correctly 2 weeks later. 2 - Poor communication along with answers that proved to be less than forthright. 3 - He abandoned the job before it was complete. We were left to hire contractors to finish some big ticket items (frame around a fire place and tile a fire place, replace 120 square feet of wood floors that were damaged by his contractors, fix poor stucco work, paint the outside of the house, finish various punch list items throughout the house). I noted the completion date for the project as October of 2020, but really that's just when he stopped returning calls and emails. We were fair, patient, and looked past a lot to try and make everything work out. He bailed on us anyway.

Bill has always been fair, on time, a problem solver and does excellent work. I will always use him for both myself and my clients.
