    Joanne Montgomery I would take the door completely off and use it as an open shelf to display pretty yet usable pottery etc.

    Ed Hi Laurie, thanks for the photo. You mentioned in your second post "Yes it is hinged on the LEFT, so was thinking of putting handle on right (fake handle) and opening it from the left without a handle there." -- so I was very confused. It is actually hinged on the right, and opens on the left.
