We've had no need to create records on our projects. For example, the designer selects the light fixture and we install it - no record, we just need the installation specifications. Since I've been getting so many questions about our projects, I've become more diligent in figuring out what everything is and asked our painter to include colors on invoices.
Here's a newer photo and the only things I didn't get were the towel bars, medicine cabinet, and light (but, as luck would have it, I did get a question on one of those!).
Note that Houzz does not require that professionals answer any questions, tag photos, or provide any other information about photos posted.
