Images of Brilliant! lighting work have appeared in Fine Homebuilding magazine, as well as Cape Cod Life, Custom Home, Solar Today, and Vineyard Style magazines.

Spaces (inside or out) where we spend lots of time want to be adjustable to our varied desires, needs, or moods. So light wants to be projected into those spaces through a variety of means, or more simply, by utilizing layers of light.

Brilliant! Lighting design experiences include lighting modern to colonial, and contemporary to victorian styles; Timber-framed as well as stick-framed spaces, both residential and commercial; Exterior living spaces and landscapes too. Plus, we work with the most current crop of energy-efficient LED and CFL lamps.

Performance lighting in the arts (dance, theater, opera, live music and video) & special events over the past 40 years shapes many of the design approaches used and informs choices in each project.

In all cases, experience teaches us that the collaboration between partners is of the greatest importance, and of the greatest joy. The design process is at its' most successful when many voices can be heard, then a discerning eye and deeply mindful understanding can be applied to reach the best of all possible solutions.

Brilliant! Lighting & Design This home is clad with 'sinker' cypress clapboards, naturally weathering without stain to a silver-y grey.
'Sinker' cypress is so named as the logs are salvaged from river bottoms, primarily in the south, and because they have been submerged, are perfectly preserved from the logging era. They are dried slowly and then milled into usable wood. We used them for siding, trim, furniture etc. In fact the spiral stair inside here is also made with 'sinker' cypress.
Here's a link (http://sinkertreasures.com/about_river_recovered/) with a little bit of history on the wood.

Brilliant! Lighting & Design Just in case you haven't already tried this... Bing/Google 'Large (or 'Large Scale') Drum Pendant' to find a variety of sizes & colors available.
Here is a link to an Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/listing/53461760/custom-30-inch-and-larger-drum-pendant) that custom makes drum pendants up to 48" diameter.
    Good luck!

Brilliant! Lighting & Design @Rosemary - This style is commonly referred to as 'Holophane' lighting, and sometimes 'Prismatic'. Bing/Google on those terms and you'll quickly find a variety of shapes, stems, and sizes that are available. Brilliant! Lighting & Design I believe you are looking at Ingo Maurer's 'Oh Mei Ma' suspension fixture, this one in silver leaf. A stunning design!
You should be able to find it with a variety of modern lighting online retailers, here's a link to Form + Function (http://www.formplusfunction.com/products/detail/823) to get you started.
