Business Description
Brunelleschi Construction is a premier urban developer of mixed-use and adaptive re-use properties, working within a neighborhood's existing fabric to create a vibrant community. We strive to develop the ideal product - socially, architecturally and environmentally. Where possible, we make every effort to build an environmentally friendly product. We accomplish this by utilizing the latest techniques and technology in building products such as high efficiency insulation, "low-e" windows, and high efficiency HVAC systems, all of which result in lower energy consumption.

The mainstay of our business is transforming underutilized buildings into dynamic residential properties. We are confident that by creating differentiated, high quality, and exciting housing within the urban core, that we can capture a share of the hearts and minds that appreciate the finer things in life. At the same time, we can have a meaningful impact redeveloping and preserving our most historic cities. We believe that preservation of our architectural heritage maintains a more interesting environment and is crucial to providing context to any area.

When working directly with clients as a General Contractor our core principals are honesty, realistic expectations and education. We understand that this is our business and your home, and for many of our clients this is their first time through this process. We take the responsibility of education and honesty very seriously, and are not afraid to tell our clients when we believe that their expectations are outside of what is possible. We believe that these three principals translate into successful projects and lasting relationships.

Brunelleschi Construction is on the cutting edge of architectural design. We deliver a high-end product that is unlike anything else in the market, incorporating state of the art materials and techniques. We have the ability to take any project from first concept all the way through the design and execution stage. We approach every project with one basic principal, ~ efficiency of spatial design ~, which is a hallmark of modern European architecture.

This was a yukky Winter, full of seasonal illness, I'm loving the sun this week. Planning to do painting outside now the paint will dry. I recommend solar gutter lights to people, great for outdoor living. We put some in recently.

One thing I'm curious about here is dust. I just added a large open shelf on the bottom of our kitchen island, I used an enamel paint on it for durability and I left it a few days to fully cure and loose it's tackiness before loading it up. We went to place some items on it just last night but had to clean the shelf first as it was covered in dust, in only 5 days it was filthy! The plan was to put our flashy appliances on it, some of which we don't use too often. I fear they will become very dusty.

Looking forward to bundling up our newborn 3rd son & hitting the parks before it gets cold. With a little luck we'll be moving into our first house under renovation in time to ready it for hibernation. End of summer will be about spackling, painting, sanding & refinishing before the weather turns. Oh & finishing up the ice pops in the freezer before the kids lose excitement over them. Maybe some kite flying.

Sadly while you guys are mourning the end of summer, here in oz we are looking forward to the end of winter! Your sadness is our joy!! At even the slightest hint of warmth, I am outside having my coffee, getting excited about my garden coming to life again. And by the end of summer, I will be sick of the flies, tired of the 40'C days, and worn out by constantly trying to keep my garden alive!! Such fun! ☀️

Great ideas. I love the 'Reveal Office' design. Although in my case it would be more like 'Hide Office when not working so you don't think about work!'.
