Jan Bronstein constructed a new house for our family. He did a spectacular job. The final product more than exceeded our expectations and at the same time, stayed within budget. He was knowledgeable, professional, honest, set high standards and adhered to all deadlines, but above all, was a pleasure to work with. Not only was he open to our ideas, but in many instances offered his suggestions to improve the look and quality of the house. A few minor problems became evident after we moved in and he was there to handle them immediately. We would highly recommend Jan Bronstein to anyone either building or renovating their home.

I hired Buildmentor to design and construct a large custom home. The entire project--from land acquisition and plans through demolition, construction and landscaping--took 14 months. It was completed on time (actually, two weeks early) and on budget. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. Buildmentor excels in moldings, finishes, flooring and exterior details. There were no unexpected surprises with the building department or subcontractors. Any issues which arose were resolved quickly and always with a view toward "what will make the customer happy". The punchlist after we moved in was very short and was quickly resolved. I recommend Buildmentor without reservation. Their quality, attention to detail and customer-centric attitude made this project a real pleasure.

We worked with Jan Bronstein's company, Buildmentor, on new construction, from initial design through move-in, and now under ongoing maintenance. We only have good things to say about our builder. Jan has integrity, true talent, and excellent management skills. He finished our house on time (actually early) and within budget. Jan has been responsive to any issue even after we moved in. We actually enjoyed the interactive design process with Jan. We did have to really be on top of our decisions so that we wouldn't hold him up and delay the building process. We also managed our own spreadsheet on the items we had to select, to make sure we stayed within the budget agreed to in our contract. We never planned to pursue this type of project and only did so because we found the right builder. It was a completely positive experience. Our house is absolutely beautiful, and I think was good value for the cost. We consider Jan one of our friends now. Don't know many people who can say that about their builder.
