Areas Served
We've work where our clients need us:

We've work out of state such as Nashville Tennessee, .

Business Description
We design based around our clients needs & tastes in a collaborative process. This way the process is open and the clients are involved and understand how we work and why we are making the decisions we are making.

As a designer, I believe in "sensible luxe" . By that I don't mean you get a luxury look without spending quality money-
Sensible Luxe is a look that uses a combination of fabrics and finishes that are smarter and wear longer with with kids, and pets (which I have) without compromising the look of sophisticated design.

EXAMPLE:
For instance I designed a banquet in Lincoln Park thats high end but the seating is all easily wiped off because its constructed of a high tech fabric made out of nylon and chairs in fresh looking modern vinyls (which have advanced) so it's basically bullet proof for the kids. The home looks lovely for longer. Even the mural painting has a finish on it that is water and stain resistant.

WE ARE KNOWN FOR:
As you can see from the Before & After's on my houzz page,
our specialty is improving existing envelopes and all the daunting details
that renovations and construction take-we are experts at coordinating.

The envelope of the house absolutely works hand in hand with the new furnishings, fabrics, and case goods. So most projects typically have some perimeter work. This is first and then furnishings, drapery/window treatments, rugs, fabrics follow.

There are 6 different size windows on the front of this house and black shutters would only emphasize that condensed irregularity. The white shutters greatly minimize the size differences while adding weight to the façade helping to offset the large expanse of roof area and wall area between windows. High contrast shutters are generally more effective when repetitious and consistent in size within major sections of a façade.

Thank you for your interest! These curtains were chosen by a 3rd party designer so unfortunately we don't have the specifics. We appreciate your question though and good luck in your search.

Look like wool. Nothing drapes better than a sheer wool and nothing is as expensive per yard!

I'd check out certainteed's website. Their fiber cement siding looks great and even the new vinyls are way improved. You need a bold colored door and roof-that should be the same color in my opinion for balance.

I think the house is cute myself but you need to be soft with the color choice and work backwards from there because a black roof in that black box shape will be very heavy looking. I'd so a pewter or a blue gray : check out this site with different scenarios- I like the thought of cedar like shakes on the house-http://www.certainteed.com/resources/SPG_No_Place_Like_Home_Brochure_CTS435.pdf

I'd also redo the roof line and add a second floor with a mansard roof.

New homeowner, there are attractive mansards that have them and attractive mansards that don't. There's an iconic one in my town that was painted by Hopper that has cornices. If that's your taste, that's what you should do. http://www.edwardhopper.net/mansard-roof.jsp
We've got a lot of them here.

I love this certainteed brochure because it has some great combo's if you scroll down towards the bottom: http://www.certainteed.com/resources/SPG_No_Place_Like_Home_Brochure_CTS435.pdf

Though they are not paints but siding but still get to see many homes with different color groupings

Why not? If you love it, of course it isn't out of the question. I see the charm of it - and a red door is always classic.

I think I got the colors wrong on the photo of the Victorian I linked a few days ago. The BODY is Concord Ivory and the TRIM is Windham Cream. The painter was over last night going over the colors we'd chosen and when he asked about the trim, I ran back to my computer and took note of the trim on my dream home. My husband looked at it and said, "now way! Concord Ivory is too dark! The trim needs to be lighter." And well, I'm looking at this house again and he's right, the trim is lighter, therefore the Windham Cream must be the lighter color. Someone help me with this please. Did I get it wrong?
