Think. Design Office

At Think Design Office, we believe that architecture should engage the user, heighten their sense of awareness, and bring a deeper understanding to their experience. We strive to create environments that stimulate their occupants and leave lasting impressions. We encourage a culture of ingenuity and exploration that enables us to maintain a fresh approach to every project we undertake. This is true regardless of the projects scale and is an approach that has often led us to reinvent established building types. Having worked in different fields of architecture and design, we have developed an ability to adjust to a projects scope, needs, budget and timeline. This approach has produced inventive work providing each clients with products which are solely their own, non-formulaic, while at the same time addresses all functional requisites.

Think Design Office is committed to conserving the environment and making intelligent use of our natural and cultural resources. We believe that societies across the globe are experiencing a shift in attitude from one merely concerned with surviving on earth to one concerned with changing how we live so that the earth can survive. We embrace this shift and seek to enhance the impact of sustainable design and development as a basic tenet of our practice. Rather than diminishing in meaning, the ideas of sustainability have the potential and power to enrich and broaden our culture as well as our architectural language.

Lisa A and then write hefty heating bill checks each month..... Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful! Just not appropriate for a cold climate really.

Think. Design Office You find details like this in cold climates. "DECO" is right. IF you used triple glazed or insulted glass units, you can do this anyway in combination with an appropriate HVAC system. Your monthly heating payment will not go up that much as long as you construct it right.

benjijk Looks like a kind of cement look tile, although it could be actual cement. Tiledaily has a few cement look tiles that might work to achieve a similar look - http://tiledaily.com/?s=cement+porcelain&submit=Search

Think. Design Office The garage door is painted, and it is a basic panel door. You can find this from most garage door installers. Thanks

sartarehare We live in a raised ranch in Seattle. Level entry, wood trim, vaulted ceilings, privacy, but we still get the downstairs L-shaped family room, extra fireplace, laundry room, bathroom and 2 car garage. 1900 sq ft of living space (minus garage). Local architect, bought from original owners and has NEVER BEEN REMODELED but well-maintained. That last piece was the biggest sell for me. (And the fact that we got a good deal). These homes lose can lose their character over the years from well-intended occupants. Time capsules are so fun to work with! I'm still painting but it's coming along. Love these homes. Perfect spaces still applicable for modern life.
