Chris Jovanelly Interior Design

As an up-and-coming interior designer in the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona area, Chris Jovanelly garners inspiration from his vast design expertise, extensive worldwide travels and experience in working with a variety of clientele.

Growing up in Columbia, S.C., Chris discovered his affinity for creativity and design at a young age, as well as his desire to create beauty through art and design. As a teenager his talent was recognized by friends and co-workers as he was often commissioned to design and decorate spaces in homes, offices and condos. With a Bachelor of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship and Art History from the University of South Carolina, Chris then moved to Arizona where he earned a 3-year CIDA accredited degree in Interior Design at Scottsdale Community College while apprenticing with some of the most well-known and accomplished designers in Arizona.

Chris recognizes that each person has a different ideal space. Comfort is a state of ease and satisfaction, and is specific and unique to the individual. Chris listens, understands and works with his clients to help guide and create their unique vision and idea of comfort. Whether that vision is contemporary, traditional, glamorous, eclectic or somewhere in between, he’ll exceed your expectations for what a well-designed home can be.

Chris Jovanelly Interior Design The material is by Interlam. I would call them or check their website for a retailer in your area. It's made of MDF. Good luck with your project!

Chris Jovanelly Interior Design I would recommend a local kitchen and bath showroom. If you show them this picture and tell them it's Toto, they should be able to help you. Good luck!

Hessed Torres I definitely think its a piece of art waiting to be discovered. Like what Barnhart Gallery said, you could take some fancy wall paper to decorate the back OR you could paint it with a refreshing color. Add some deco after it dries. You could step up and take a pretty vase, fill it up with daisies and set it on that light green table you have there. :)

Chris Jovanelly Interior Design Hi mkb517! Thanks for your question. There aren't light switches near the bed. The home is on a smart system. Everything is controlled via iPads, but I put a small remote in each nightstand drawer to control the bedside lights. An A/V professional can easily retrofit a switch located anywhere in the room to be controlled by a remote. The remote communicates with the switch, and your home doesn't necessarily have to have a full-blown smart system to incorporate this technology. I hope this helps! In many cases it can be a relatively inexpensive retrofit, and is definitely better than having to reach for a switch, which in this kind of application would be awkward both physically and aesthetically. Good luck with your project!

Chris Jovanelly Interior Design They are by Hubbardton Forge. It's a custom program with these pendants, and you can choose between several different fabrics for the inner and outer shades. These have silver silk organza on the inside shade, and black linen on the outer shade. They turned out great!

Chris Jovanelly Interior Design Hi Kate! Thanks for the compliment! I love the way these chairs turned out, but I have to admit they were a bit of a chore. They are the "Gustav" metal chair by Bernhardt. They only come in chrome, so I had them stripped, plated brass, then finished to look aged. The upholstery on the chairs is by Maxwell, and is called "Soft Croc." It's a crocodile embossed faux-fur.

KLM Design llc I love the finish, I have seen them in the chrome but didn't even think of refinishing. Excellent idea! Thanks again!
