    Molding - Do I install base molding above baseboard heating

    Blue Sky Building Company Hmmm. Odd question on a kitchen picture but No, you would not install baseboard above electric or hydronic baseboard heat. Many manufactures offer great looking covers to sort of mimic decorative wood baseboard.

    julie77777 ddelora and Lyn T -- I am with you.......I cannot imagine having to clean grout on my kitchen walls near my stove and my sink! I am starting some remodeling and can't deide what to do .... all these modern backsplashes are lovely to look at, but wow..... I currently have two coats of a very good paint behind my stove and it cleans up great. I have decided to definitely go with the short (3"?) backsplash that normally is attached to the countertop; absolutely cannot imagine NOT having that right behind my sink. Then above that, not sure yet... Low budget for backsplash --

    jacksonbeth We really like our new tile backsplash because it is unique. We took advantage of a product by Web Don called Kitchen Palette..it is very nice, allows for interchangable design of your entire backsplash:
