    Cottage Home, Inc. This is a solid wood floor - quarter-sawn, white oak with a clear finish. The floor is installed before trim and cabinets, and then is finished as one of the last things done during the construction of the house. This is a very solid, stable floor. Thanks for the kind words about this house. We did enjoy building it as well!

    Could you tell me what brand wood flooring you used here? Could this be installed on concrete subfloor?

    Cottage Home, Inc. This is a quarter-sawn solid white oak that is finished on-site near the end of completion with a natural finish. This can be used on a concrete subfloor, but installation instructions should be followed exactly. We have installed it on concrete, and have also used it on a concrete subfloor with radiant heat. Again, you should consult with our builder to ensure all requirements. It is a beautiful floor. Thanks for the question.

    Cottage Home, Inc. This shower photo is hard to see well. It actually wraps around the corner and recessed back about 2-3 feet more - and then has an angled ceiling. The usable space in this shower is probably about 36"x36". Thanks for asking!

    Cottage Home, Inc. Thanks for asking! This shower is probably 36" x 36". Depending on your room layout, you may have room. You'll want a minimum of 30" for an vanity and 30" for a toilet. Wishing you the best with your bathroom!

    I love the natural color of the cedar shakes. What type and color of stain was used?

    Cottage Home, Inc. Thanks for asking! These shakes are a Western Red Cedar with Cabot water-based clear solution #3060 Natural finish. So the shake is not stained, it simply has a natural, protective finish. It's so beatiful and weathers to a brown/grey tone over time.
