“I want my clients to be able to slide a chair from the dining room to the kitchen, or from the living room to the library and the pieces should still work. Every element in a home should flow.”

Dayna Katlin’s view that design enhances the “home-as-haven” philosophy has brought her a wide-ranging and loyal client roster. Dayna studied watercolor as well as pottery and ikebana before engaging in the UCLA Design Program that included color theory and space planning. The combination of these disciplines provided a strong foundation for the launch of Dayna Katlin Interiors in 2006, where traditional sensibilities infused with a love of California’s casual comfort instantly became the firm’s hallmark.

Dayna resides in a classic California ranch-style home (with a Connecticut bent) near Los Angeles, with her daughter, son, dog, and two Zen'ed out cats.
