Savena Doychinov, CKD/Design Studio International Phyllis, I'm happy to hear you like this kitchen. It's one of my favorite projects too. The color on the cabinets is
Eggshell with delicately hand applied brown glaze. it would be best if the professional who'll be refinishing your cabinets prepare some large samples of the finish(es) for you to help you decide. Also, the same finish looks different in different rooms, so try to find the one that looks best in your kitchen. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. Photo would be nice too!

Savena Doychinov, CKD/Design Studio International Hello Maybritt, I'm glad that you like this color. It was custom mixed on the job site, by gradually adding different pigments to the base until we achieved a color everybody was happy with. FYI, this is not a standard house paint for woodwork, it's lacquer. I hope this helps.

Savena Doychinov, CKD/Design Studio International If only the kitchen itself was as original as the street signs back splash!

sarapnp I LOVE the street signs! Brilliant idea. I used to "collect" street signs when I was a teenager and they lined the walls of my bedroom - a very modern pop-tribute to Andy Warhol, or at least I used to like to think as much. The truth probably is that I was seeking some "direction" in my life ...

jeanniedrawer Our Schmoo was a repo! My youngest daughter had a friend who had gotten him as a 5 week old kitten and realized he was too much work to care for, so my daughter volunteered us to be his new bff...lol! We love the socks off of him! Even though he has lived with us for almost twelve years he still acts like a little space cadet with a tinfoil hat helmet...so odd and unworldly!

Savena Doychinov, CKD/Design Studio International pamcoy, brown is a great natural and neutral color, but (without having seen your particular situation), I would suggest that you carefully consider this color, as it may prove to be too dark for your great room - a space that I assume is used all the time by your family and friends. It really depends how many large windows there are, the exposure(s), the ceiling height and how much wall space the room has and all of the other elements that are/will be in this space. It also depends, of course, on the particular color you select. Are you working with an interior designer or decorator? If not, find a good one and work with him/her to achieve the best results.

Savena Doychinov, CKD/Design Studio International Hi crisdomf, the depth of this arch is ~ 15", but it should be adjusted according to the wall's and room's proportions.
