Unfortunately this project was a while back and we do not have the records as to how the left edge was finished any more.

The value of mixers: you set the temperature (after the hot water reaches the outlet all the way from the hot water system, to be practical) and then you can turn the flow on and off as you need it without having to re-set as you do with conventional taps. Very convenient. Otherwise I find myself leaving the water running when using taps - and water is getting expensive these days!

Used to think double vanity basins was just an indulgence - but when needs colllide as you panic to get out of the house for work or that social engagement, they would be a boon, in our house at least.

My "what is that about" issue is toilet roll holders. Why on earth make it a bathroom feature? What is the appeal? We house ours on the inside of a vanity unit door - need arises, open door, use as required, close door. You do have to warn visitors the first time, though!
