Domicile Interior Design

domicile interior design is a full service interior design studio specializing in residential, hospitality, retail and commercial interior design and an array of home good products.  Domicile believes in forging meaningful relationships with all their clientele. Their goal is to create a home that reflects the client’s needs and personality through a unique and personal process. Domicile deftly blends old and new with a west coast influence to produce chic, eclectic and comfortable interiors.

Amanda Malson of Domicile has worked as an interior designer within the high-end residential and hospitality design fields in both San Francisco and Los Angeles for the last eleven years. Her experience has included overseeing the design and management of several multimillion-dollar projects and a position at the Los Angeles based design firm KWID where she gained valuable boutique hotel experience. Her signature style is based upon traditional classic principles mixed with a sixties and seventies modern era aesthetic pulled together by soft contrasting color palettes.

Jolene Ballard of Domicile studied interior design at Iowa State University where she received her BFA. After working in Des Moines, Jolene relocated to southern California where she took a design position at Gensler where she completed many high profile office environments. Her ability to combine modernism and classicism while mixing high-end style with low-end flea market finds create relaxed, eclectic and stylish interiors that parallel her personal style.  Jolene is LEED accredited, CID certified and is the co-president of the IIDA Orange County chapter.

ilenegross Having just moved into a new house this article provided the needed information I require regarding lighting. One question. I just had built a custom "live edge table" for my dining room. 46"x100". Any thoughts or photos would be appreciated. Just artwork and applied molding will be in the room. Custom but simple parson chairs will be used not to fight with the beauty of the table. Since the chandelier is so vital to this room I could use some design help.
