Phantom Screens
Great article - the examples provided really demonstrate the benefits of gaining additional square footage by making use of the outdoor living spaces while staying protected from the bugs! Phantom Screens manufactures and distributes motorized retractable screens, and we have seen a big jump in the number of people looking for this solution for their homes to create outdoor rooms that would be connected to their yards but at the same time let them maintain the unblocked views. As our motorized screens retract out of sight when not in use, homeowners don`t need to worry about removing the screens in the end of the warm summer months - the screens simply automatically retract inside their housings, and stay there until next spring.
We have been fortunate to work with many builders and architects across North America, helping to deliver comfort and convenience to homeowners who want to spend time on their porches and patios without the hassle of the bugs or the excessive heat. Numerous mesh options (weave thicknesses and colors) let our customers determine which one is best for their location and needs, thereby delivering the best result that works for their space. Connectivity to home automation systems is an added bonus for homeowners who want to schedule when to lower and retract the screens.
Our Ideabook includes examples of some of our completed projects - check it out to see how Phantom retractable motorized screens can help our customers to make the most of spring and summer (and quite often even fall!). Check out more info on our screens on our website at http://www.phantomscreens.com or call us at 1-888-PHANTOM!

I would love to see photos of screened in porches on a split entry or bi-level home.
