Vanessa Brunner Awesome discussion here guys, thanks for putting in your two cents! It's always super interesting to hear thoughts about showcase houses — each one is so unique, and it's fantastic to see what these talented designers are capable of.

One thing to keep in mind is the purpose of a showcase house — each room is designed individually by the designer, so there's really not a collaboration between spaces. It's just meant to highlight each designer's skill and vision. For the same reason, not every part of every room is necessarily designed to be practical, but challenging and editorial. I personally love these showcase houses for the amazing inspiration they bring, and the eye candy too!
