Gonzalez Architects

Gonzalez Architects, is a Houston-based architectural firm, founded in 2001, and specializing single-family residential architecture. We find creative solutions that express the homeowner's personalities and improves their family's way of life. We offer a complete range of services in the design of new homes and the alteration of existing structures. Marcelo A. Gonzalez graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Houston in 1992. He was a member of the Honors Design Studio, made the Deans List and was accepted twice into the Saintes Architecture Program in France. After graduation, Marcelo spent six years interning with residential architects. During this time he completed his IDP requirements and passed the ARE to become a certified architect by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. Inspired by his brother's performance at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, Marcelo started training to earn a position on the Argentinean Olympic Team. After four years of training and racing at the professional level, he was accepted to compete in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in the sport of Luge. The year prior to the games, he established GONZALEZ ARCHITECTS, an architectural firm specializing in residential design. Since then, he has designed and remodeled hundreds of homes in the Houston area.
