I would recommend Grigsby Construction for anything! We were extremely happy with Steve's work and really enjoyed working with him. We did a total kitchen remodel, and he took great care to make sure everything was perfect. Everyone he brought in to work at the house was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the specific job at hand. We were living at the house with a new baby and toddler during the remodel, so it made a huge difference to enjoy and trust the people coming in and out of our home. They took pride in their work and wanted everything to be just right for us. We haven't had any problems with anything, and the room looks so great! It's probably our favorite room in the house now! Steve always kept us up to date on the progress, what was coming up next and when he would be there, and he was always available to answer questions. He completed everything in a timely manner which was very much appreciated! We would trust and recommend him to work on any job, and would definitely use him again. He is by far the best contractor we have worked with! We are so happy we had the kitchen re-done, and we stop to admire it all the time! If you look at the details of the work, you can see it's top quality. We are so pleased we used Grigsby Construction and we love our new kitchen!

I began working with Steve Grigsby when I chose Counter Dimensions to re-do my kitchen. Steve was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer my many questions. Steve is timely, clean, knowledgeable about construction, and fun to have around! His work is first rate and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing construction done on their home.

Here's the most important thing about remodeling -- your renovation will only ever be as good as your general contractor. You can have great ideas, great taste, great design, but it will never happen the way you want unless you get the right contractor for the job. And here we have Steve. If he can do my renovation and make me extremely happy, I know for sure he can do the same for you. I am overbearing, picky, bossy, all-around difficult, and make my opinion known at all times during the work. Steve took it all in stride, did exactly what I wanted, and kept an open line of communication at all times. He even impressed my husband -- no easy feat. The skinny on my project: our house was built in 1963, "remodeled" a little bit in the 70s and then preserved in all its wood-paneled, carpeted glory. It was the typical old ranch, with a divided living room, den, kitchen, dining room. Our vision was to knock out all the walls and open the entire space. This was a big job -- removing load-bearing walls, installing a beam and a column, new floors, coffered ceiling, wainscoting, new kitchen, remove old brick fireplace, etc. We interviewed several contractors, some balked at the size of the project. But Steve did it all and, most importantly, did it all extremely well. He did the rough construction but also took great care with the finishes. And the result -- beautiful, fabulous, top notch, gorgeous, Southern Living-worthy, amazing, need I say more? Bottom line, choose Steve. Like I said, if he can make this persnickety, prickly, particular gal write such a glowing review, your job will be a piece of cake. And he is, without doubt, just a generally good guy who does exactly what he says he is going to do. That's rare, especially in the world of general contractors. edited to add: My husband demanded that I add that Steve would fix things without you even asking and when you did ask for something he took it in stride. It is obvious that he cared about his work and did things the right way and never cut corners.

Steve Grigsby completed a major kitchen remodel for us. It was the most pleasant construction project experience I've ever had. Steve went out of his way to make the disruption of living in a construction zone as pleasant as possible. He kept us informed daily on what would be happening, was always on time, and on schedule even through the inevitable construction surprises and minor changes and additions. The quality of his and his sub-contractor's work was outstanding. We would never hesitate using Steve again.

We do Steve's stairs & he's always been a pleasure to work with and work for. He makes sure you get top quality work & everything is done right! This Contractor did a complete Master Bath Remodel for me and it was an exceptional experience. He is on time, communicates completely throughout the job process, cleans up each day before leaving. Works the hours necessary to keep the project on target. His knowledge and experience were incredibly helpful and he went above and beyond in meeting my budget and working with my design plan. I have never had a better experience with a Contractor and he is certainly not my first. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again in the future.

My husband and I used Grigsby Construction to update our downstairs den, bathroom, bedroom, and stairway. They removed dark 1960's paneling and updated the entire area by adding sheet rock, lighting, granite counters, new bathroom and wet bar fixtures, french doors, and added hardwood to stairs that had been covered with carpeting. Steve Grigsby turned the whole area into a space that we love to spend time in. We used Steve recently to redo our 70's kitchen that had water damaged floors and cabinet doors that were falling off. He turned our kitchen into a beautiful bright kitchen we are proud of. We lived in our house during these changes and had very little dust or noise from the construction. Steve and his crew were always prompt and friendly. Steve pays close attention to every detail and we never had to have him redo anything or call anything to his attention. I plan on using Grigsby Construction again to redo two bathrooms and add a powder room.

There was nothing this company could not do. We were so happy with the quality of work done ( and we are very picky people ). We remodeled our kitchen, master bath and master closet. The areas where totally gutted and redone. They were great at staying on schedule and meeting deadlines. And very easy to talk to and discuss how we wanted things to be. I highly recommend this company!! You will be very pleased. And they went out of their way to keep the work areas clean.
