Home Restoration Services, Incorporated is a nationally published, award-winning Builder based in South Minneapolis. We are a General Contractor specializing in Architect-designed Residential projects of all kinds; Additions, Kitchens, Baths, Room Conversions, and Exterior Renovations. Working primarily on older homes, we are known for matching the architectural character of each home we remodel. Our renovations look as if they had always been part of the home, and part of the neighborhood.
We offer design/build services on projects such as basement and bathroom remodels.
We have been published in the Kitchen and Bath Issue of Fine Homebuilding Magazine, we have also contributed numerous times to their "Great Ideas" and "Tips and Techniques" articles. We have been featured in Midwest Home Magazine.

Hello, thanks for the question. I built these using a frame-and-panel system along with traditional joinery. For stiffness, I made the frame out of 1" thick clear Cedar. For the pickets I bought a bunch of clear Western Red Cedar boards from a fence material supplier. I ran them through a thickness planer so they would fit into the dado I had made on the back side of the frame, and pinned them in place. Here are some photos...

Hello, I believe this is a sink/vanity combination made by Porcher. We installed this as part of a project completed in 2007. I went online to double-check but I could not find much information on Porcher at all. It may be that Porcher no longer sells in the U.S. Check with your local plumbing fixture supplier is the best advice I can give you!

Hi Jill, thanks for the question. I'm not sure how thick these columns are, but this Trex railing system uses attachment
clips. Each clip are attached to the column using Tapcon cement screws or the fasteners provided by Trex. The railing is then attached to the clips; both top and bottom.
