Commented: What is the width of the bead board? Where did you buy it? 1/2" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard) panels which comes in sheets 4'x8' with various beading routed into the panels. The picture shows an v-bead at 1-3/4" on center. The product is sold by Nantucket...

Commented: Finish All of the wood used here is Douglas Fir. Trim is finished in clear urethane. Ceiling timbers finished with penetrating oil.
