Wonderful example of "less = more" living. Definitely doesn't take tons of stuff to infuse a space with function and your personality.

One of the best ideas I saw, for small spaces, was mounting folding chairs, they can be used as shelves or to hang clothes; ideal for a small laundry room and folded up when not needed :-)

We have a tiny laundry room made even smaller when we bought front loading appliances. But I was able to find just the right size etagere to add a bit of interest. The bottom shelf also serves as a feeding station for our Poodle-Schnauzer mix. Yes, I do have to scoot the etagere over to the right when I empty the dryer but it works! Supplies are above the washer/dryer, the utility closet is to the right of the etagere.
