I spent a considerable amount of time researching home builders in my area prior to builder selection. I knew that this would be the most important step in building my custom lake home. I have past building experience, and I learned that if you pick the right builder, the project can be very fun and exciting. Pick the wrong builder, and it will be your worst nightmare, not just until it is complete, but until you sell it. After months of interviews, research, project walk throughs, etc., I selected J. R. Lazaro Custom Builders. I am now in my new home and could not be more pleased! The construction and quality are second to none and have exceeded my expectations (I am a very picky engineer and extremely detail oriented). There are very few builders out there today that still build homes the way Lazaro does. Sure there were a few problems along the way (as with all custom builds), but Lazaro was there to remedy the situation to MY SATISFACTION in every case. I will be a repeat customer when I decide to build again.
