Krista Krahn A planter?!?! At the risk of sounding like a hipster, I've been refurbing manual typewriters since 1990. My school provided them as the only alternative to handwriting essays. (The school closed for lack of funding, surprise.) Typewriters are extraordinarily useful to so many people to change the speed of writing. It's great for creativity. They function perfectly well if you show the slightest bit of care.

Joel Snayd Hi. The bed is vintage. We were fortunate to find it with this great green patina over brass.

alex511 Hi Joel. It looks like you may have answered someone else's question. I was asking about the light fixture. :-) May I ask about the rug as well? I love the look of this room!
Joel Snayd We purchased the light fixture from Circa Lighting. They have a great selection of lights: www.circalighting.com. The rug is from Kyle Bunting. It is made from various width and length cowhide -- www.kylebunting.com. If interested, the walls were upholstered using a wool blend fabric and piping.

Joel Snayd Thanks for reaching out. There are three bedrooms and two baths on the first level. The second level is a loft-like space with a media room/study, two additional spaces with a total of four twin beds, and a guest bath.

Joel Snayd The cushions were custom made in Savannah, GA. We purchased and provided the fabric to a local seamstress in our area. The navy blue fabric with the white piping is from Sunbrella. The yellow pillow fabric is by Trina Turk and sold through Schumacher (to the trade). You can purchase the fabric through us or find a local designer / retailer in your area. Try searching online as well. Good luck!

Take a look at the tips we have outlined in our blog (installing outlets in drawers or cabinets for your hairdryer and electric toothbrush and an over-the-door shoe organizer for storing cosmetics by type are just a couple examples)!! http://www.panageries.com/organization-is-a-beautiful-thing/
