Commented: What is the type of plant? The plant is Agave attenuata in a mature form.I removed the pups (babies) to show the stem. The plant works well here because it is a soft green and unlike other agaves, it doesn't have sharp points....

Commented: How to improve outside of house? Highlight the beautiful tree. Remove the ivy and shrub and add some iceberg roses to the planter along with some lavender and statice and other small perennials for a low water garden that is also low...
