Our place is 2 stories and the only time I hear the squirrels is when I am upstairs, so it's not too bad as libbmom says.

We live in the middle of the woods and I feel some comfort in the fact if a limb fell of a tree on the room that it would be much harder for it to puncture the roof also...

I think if you were to make the changes of the backsplash, using the marble subway tile and change out the island countertop to marble. The black countertops will work, you almost need it to ground the space, adding more white with the white cabinets it may be too stark. It will have a 'classic' style.

I don't think Calcutta gold marble and bamboo chairs are not a good fit. Something upscale and more modern might be better.

Love your black and white abstract.

I think this Nobillia kitchen below is a good combination of industrial/ english country & would look good with your tiles. I would go for soft white colour cabinets, with your tiles, rather than a yellower vanilla/ cream colour. Best of luck!

Unfortunately, I do not think I took any. It was almost more of a beautiful font than graffiti.

What you don't see in this photo, we were able to add a second bath behind the new shower location. The second door went into the hallway which we closed off, it is now a full kids bath. I would say it was a great use of a extremely large master bath, meeting the needs of the entire family.

aerosol effect - every time you flush contaminated water droplets are dispensed into the air and send germs ALL over your bathroom. I won't even store my toothbrush in the bathroom. Studies have been done. You can look them up. ick. ick. ick. on serving food or beverages in the toilet. ew.

Otherwise - VERY nice update!

A good business takes in all critics, thank you for giving us out your opinions!

STAR as @adivra said is designed for a moderate use, and not for a professional one.
But then again, if used moderately the intake area doesn't affect the functionality of the range hood, it all comes down to the absorption power, STAR has 350 CFM. Enough to absorb anything over a 60cm range.

Regarding the cleaning @bsellers1394 we did think about this, that's why STAR's crystals are divided in 3 panels that you can easily detach and put them in the dish washer to maintain the brand new clean & shiny appearance every time, also the underfilter is detachable so you can put it in the dishwasher safely as well!

We want to remind to you that this Range Hood is in the market since 2005 when Elica created STAR as the 1st "Ceiling Hood" in the world. Since then, we've selled several thousands of STARs around the world, with total satisfaction!

We really appreciate all your comments and inputs on our products. This keeps getting better and moving forward

It is a crackle mirror subway tile. I designed this space a few years back and I have tried to find the company that made these tiles, I have been unsuccessful. I think they may not be around anymore.... Disappointing as I think they were ahead of the times!

I'm not sure how to do the repair but you can take out a place for your tv I wouldn't take the trim down unless you want to replace it with a up dated trim from Home Depot u can always paint cabinets and trim I always try to keep cost down u would be surprised what u can do

If you feel you need something to keep people from falling because of the sunken area around the fireplace replace the half walls with a railing. I'd go for something that matches the new flooring rather than the yellow oak.

Good idea... I love the design, I just purchased a 100 year old Aladdin kit home in historic Jacksonville FL and I think I'm going to use this as an inspiration! Beautiful work :)
