Story & Space is a boutique interior design firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 2003 by Kelly Berg, Story & Space (formerly Arte Styling) offers specialized design services with an emphasis on color, environmental psychology and the stories of our spaces.

About Kelly

Kelly is an interior designer, color expert and writer. She holds a B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego as well as a B.A in Communication from U.C. San Diego. She is a member of the International Interior Design Association and the International Association of Color Consultants/Designers, the latter provided training in applied color psychology and human response to color.

When she’s not working hands-on with clients, Kelly is busy exploring and sharing color and design through her blog and social media. She has been featured as a color and design authority in numerous online and print publications including Better Homes and Gardens, Family Circle and Woman's Day and is one of the winning designers of the 2011 California Paints Color Challenge. She has a book project in the works entitled "The Brave New Home", and is also currently designing a workshop series with color colleague Rachel Perls.

As a brand new homeowner in Marin, Kelly is starting to put her design skills to the ultimate test by fixing up her own 1950s home. She also enjoys frequent visits to her home town of Napa for family, wine and inspiration.
