This is the third time Katie has helped me with renovation projects. Each time she amazes me with her ideas, her expertise and her solutions to problems. Katie listened to my vision of the space (which was a very limited one) and build on my ideas to create a very stylish and practical design. I highly recommend Perspectives Interior Design.

We have worked with Katie Knox, owner of Perspectives, on a consulting basis on several different occasions. She helped us choose paint colors for our new home while it was still in the construction phase. Her eye for color is impeccable, and we have been very happy with the result. She also developed a design plan for our Rec Room/TV Room and helped choose furniture, fabrics and colors. Through her expertise and suggestions this has since become a vey comfortable and pleasing space. Where I chose to use existing furniture in our Great Room, she worked around what I had using area rugs to tie the room together. She was a tremendous help when we went rug shopping. Her ideas went beyond anything I would have envisioned and the result was beautiful. Because of her joyful demeanor, working with Katie is always a pleasant experience. She will always seek out the positive in a room and comment on that aspect or item. She is very affirming; but when she does need to critique our ideas, she is able to do so without any negativity. She has often made me look at design in a new and different way, and every one of her ideas that we have implemented has been exactly the right solution. Most importantly, I feel, is that she is always mindful that this is our house and we are the ones who will be living here. She does not push her personal taste but that which is best for our personalities and lifestyle. We have not ever gone wrong when placing our trust in Katie Knox of Perspectives.

My builder recommended the services of Katherine Knox of Perspectives Interior Design to assist us in space planning and interior design of our home. There are no words to describe the knowledge and expertise that Katie brought to our project. She took our custom plans and made remarkable changes to better utilize space that literally transformed our plan into the wonderful home that we love today. Katie worked with me every step of the way at our request in choosing paint colors, granites and marbles, lighting, flooring and all other finishes. She took great care to learn and understand my preferences. I literally walk through my home 6 years later and see Katie's special love and care in every room of my home. A million times over, I would hire her again. As a matter of fact, the greatest compliment I can give is that based on our experience with Katie, my daughter and son-in-law have retained her services in the building of their new home! We hired Perspectives Interior Design to upgrade our deck and reconfigure our living-room/dining-room area. They made insightful suggestions, sketched superb designs, and saved us a significant amount of money by making use of existing furnishings. We are very pleased with the results, and will hire Perspectives for the next project.
