Our preference is to provide homes where beauty is derived from an open spatial character rather than the structure being the center of attention.

Being available, responding quickly, budgeting realistically and meeting time tables are the benchmarks of our service. Added to these goals is our ability to listen to your desires, provide possible directions, and then assist you in developing solutions. Our design expertise and attention to detail is evident in our clients projects built over the last 25 years on the Big Island. With a staff of five and our "on island" engineering consultants, we are capable of managing complex projects efficiently.

Our corporation consists of two principals John "Prenty" Dinmore and Terry Cisco. Both born and raised in Hawaii, we have made it our overall architectural goal to maintain a strong feeling of tropical design in our work. Within the constraints of the site's particular weather environments, our designs integrate interior spaces, exterior spaces and the landscape design. Our preference is to provide homes where beauty is derived from an open spatial character rather than the structure being the center of attention. Our commercial designs optimize our clients investment as well as provide facilities which have a timeless feeling of Hawaii. Dinmore & Cisco Architects Inc. received the 1994 Award of Excellence, the highest award for a residential project from the American Institute of Architects, Hawaii Chapter.
