    Lamps Plus Hi trc2011, this type of chandelier is commonly used in an entryway, dining room, or living room. However, it can be used in any room as long as there is enough clearance underneath it. Hope this helps!

    Lamps Plus Hi danerin, the remote included with this fan does have an option to dim the light. However, you may need to purchase specialty dimmable bulbs for this function for work properly - the included standard CFL bulbs are not designed to be dimmed.
