    So sorry it's taken me this long to answer this question. The table is 40"w x 8' long. The chairs are fairly wide, so 2 per side. The space between the pergola posts is 10' x 14'.

    Thank you for your interest in this room.
    The paint color is my favorite wall color for any room in the house. It borders a mellow yellow and soft green. It is Ben Moore Beacon Hill Damask. I use it in a Matt finish to reflect some light.

    I had a professional decorative artist (faux finisher) do this. She had a reverse laser stencil made in the pattern, then pounced on the silver metallic paint, She also painted the ceiling in silver.

    Edea Krammer Great stuff! Two thumbs up! I'll keep these tips in mind. I have to say though I believe that most essential part is to make a unique atmosphere with lights. Everyone should be creative by stirring up the sizes and states of candles, spreading them all through your space. Also it would be a great idea to include lantern and strings of occasion lights.

    inlimbo Can anyone tell me what kind of preparation is needed before painting? I have queen anne chairs that are cherry and someone told me once that painting a set takes away from the value and should only be painted if they are not in good condition. Any comments. Thanks.
