Lindy Donnelly

Lindy Donnelly arrived into the field of interior design via an extensive prior career as a fashion designer. As a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, she worked in the fashion industry in New York as a designer for a wide range of companies for many years, most notably as head designer for Tommy Hilfiger, Inc. She travelled extensively to Hong Kong to develop collections and supervise manufacturing. Deciding to use her talent and business acumen from the fashion world and strike out on her own into interior design, she moved back to her native home in the Bay Area where she apprenticed with Barbara Scavullo Design before starting her own interior design practice in 2004.
Her style encompasses a richly colored and textured palette layering various periods of furnishings and cultures. She possesses a sharp eye for proportion, scale and detail, and creates schemes that range from traditional to modern. The success of her projects combines a sensitive understanding of her clients; their lifestyle, needs and personal taste.
Giving back to the community, Lindy is an active member of the Junior League of San Francisco.
She lives and works on the Peninsula in San Mateo County.
