Commented: Is a channel/header needed?Hi and thanks for your question. The door is 88" x 30" and is made of 1/2" glass. It's just hinged and it's fine. The door has a 1" sweep on the bottom to prevent leaking.

Commented: The shower base and drain are quietly elegant. How was this done? Is tThank you for your question. The floor is a honed slab that has been surface ground to be pitched. We used the center drain due to budget but a trough drain would be even more minimal.
