Mary Prince

I am a Boston based contributing writer/photographer for Houzz, and a professional portrait and commercial photographer. My favorite design style is fresh, uncluttered, and modern although I appreciate any style that is well executed. I also love the surprise and rebellious twist of "a house within a house". This would be a contemporary home filled with period antiques or an antique home filled with modern design. I believe that what one chooses to surround themselves with reveals their true personality.

Mary Prince Honestly I don't know. I will ask the owner but this piece was custom made by a furniture maker and I don't know if that information is available.

getting1 To cdg4ahappyhojme - if their are kitchen supply places in your town, I'd contact them for the refinishing of your sink. If they can't do it themselves, they should know who can. They might be able to tell you who's the best too. Good luck.

getting1 As for the tiles sink, I'd think if it had epoxy grout it would be a lot more sanitary. It doesn't need to be resealed but I'd go over it with a scrub brush to clean it so food particles don't stick in the grout lines. I know it would take a little more to keep up but some tiles are so beautiful. Maybe for a bar type sink that doesn't get so much use. Not for all the dish washing and food prep I do.

grumble Grumble. Being from Boston and Quincy mass. WE dream in red white and Blue. I think a lot of people gave their lives for our flag and what it stands for. My wife and I put up a 35 foot flagpole yesterday in Florida. I love this country, fly your flags. Great article

Andrea Szabo I liked mirror and so I got it. OMG the cleaning of it. It never had a day when it didn't need cleaning and it was a lot of work since grease just smears. Not again. I like to look at it on pictures but unless we can afford a house cleaner, we will not have mirror in the kitchen again.
