Commented: Living Room Try 7'x7' - this will keep the sofas' area defined and separate from the rest of the space ( I would suggest to tape out the perimeter of the space you want covered to see if that size rug would work before...

Commented: Are my curtains too short? I actually like the blue - it adds a nice contrast to the palette. But do agree with adding details (not to the curtains but to the rest of the room) to balance that blue.... unless you already have it...
